Eva Ann Millslagle was born circa 1814.¹ She was the daughter of Johann Jacob Mühlschlägel and Elizabeth Cooper.² Eva Ann and Arianne were twins.^3,4 Eva Ann and Edith may be the same person. One person is called Ediann. She is the twin of Arianne. But is Eva Ann or Edith Ann known as Ediann? The research done by Grace Kelso Garner is a little confusing when compared to the census records. She may have been enumerated on the 1820 census for Hampshire County, Virginia in the household of her father as a female aged from newborn to ten years old.⁵ Follow the link to see the census image.⁵ She may have been enumerated on the 1840 census for Sandy Ridge, Hampshire County, Virginia in the household of her father as a female aged twenty to thirty years old.⁶ Follow the link to see the census image. She is mentioned in the will of Mrs. Hannah (Millslagle) Pennington.² She is the granddaughter of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
