     Elizabeth A. Peek was born circa 1845 in Kentucky.^2,3 Elizabeth married Jacob Marion Millslagle, son of Andrew Millslagle and Mary Martin, on 5 October 1865 in Christian County, Illinois. He was 26 and she was about 20.^4,5,1 Elizabeth and Jacob had at least 3 children. These children are Minnie May, Gracie and William H..⁶
          Jacob, age 30, and Elizabeth, age 25, were enumerated on the 1870 Federal Census in Cotton Hill Township, Sangamon County, Illinois. Also enumerated in this household were their daughter, Minnie (age 2) and Andrew (Jacob's father, age 69). Jacob's personal estate was valued at $700. Andrew must still own the farm because his line on the census lists the value of the farm as $3200.⁷ Follow the link to see the census image.
          Jacob, age 42, and Elizabeth, age 38, were enumerated on the 1880 Federal Census in Cotton Hill, Sangamon County, Illinois. Also enumerated in this household were their children, Minnie (her age is hard to determine-either 13, 11, or 10), Gracey (age 8) and William (age 5). Jacob's father, Andrew (age 78), also lives with them.⁶ Follow the link to see the census image. Elizabeth and Jacob lived in 1881 on the homestead with his parents [I believe this should be his father] in Cotton Hill Twp.⁸ Elizabeth died before 1910.^9,10
