John J. A. Millslagle was born circa 1845 in Virginia.1,2,3
He was the son of Samuel Millslagle and Joanna Glaize.4
John, age 5, was enumerated in the household of his parents on the 1850 Federal Census in District #24, Hampshire County, Virginia.5

John, age 16, was enumerated in the household of his parents on the 1860 Federal Census in Yellow Springs, Hampshire County, Virginia.6

John died young. He is not found with his family on the 1870 census or in Hampshire County so Garner thinks he might have died before 1870.7
Garner believes he was buried at Shiloh Cemetery although there is not a marker for him there.
He is the great-grandson of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
