Eliza Baumgardner was born circa 1850 in Illinois.1
She was the daughter of J. Baumgardner and R. (?).2
Eliza, age 10, was enumerated in the household of her parents on the 1860 Federal Census in Lithopolis, Hardin County, Iowa. She attends school.2

Eliza married Thomas Millslagle, son of Samuel Milslagel and Julia Ackley.3
They had at least 4 children. The three boys grew to manhood but the girl died in infancy. The names of the known children are Thomas Wellington and Clyde Clinton.4
Eliza died in 1876.4
She was about 26 years old.
