Carrie Milslagle was born circa 1871 in Illinois.1 She was the daughter of Isaac Newton Milslagle and Emily Stone.2 Carrie, age 8, was enumerated in the household of her parents on the 1880 Federal Census in Pueblo County, Colorado. She is not marked for attending school. I don't know if this was overlooked or if she wasn't attending school.2 Follow the link to see the census image. She is the 2nd great-granddaughter of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
