     Flora Belle Millslagle was born in 1863.^1,2 She was the daughter of Jacob Milslagle (Junior) and Margaret (?).³ Flora, age 5, was enumerated in the household of her parents on the 1870 Federal Census for the Romney Post Office in Sherman Township, Hampshire County, Virginia.⁴ Follow the link to see the census image. Belle, age 18, was enumerated in the household of her parents on the 1880 Federal Census in Sherman Magisterial District, Hampshire County, West Virginia.           Flora married James Henry Stewart in 1891.⁶ Flora was mentioned in her mother's will.⁷ Follow the link to read the transcription.⁷
          James died in 1925, leaving Flora a widow.⁶ Flora died in 1926.¹ She was about 63 years old. She and James were buried in Mt Zion Cemetery in Augusta, Hampshire County, West Virginia.⁶ She is the great-granddaughter of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
