George, age 66, and William, age 58, were enumerated on the 1870 Federal Census for the Forks of Capon Post Office in Blooming Township, Hampshire County, West Virginia. Also enumerated in this household were Philena (age 40), Susan (age 30), George (age 4), Hannah (age 1). I do not know the relationships of this family.2
George worked as a farmer. His farm was worth $1200 and his personal property was worth $400.2
