George P. Park was born in 1866 in West Virginia.^2,3 He was the son of William Park and Susan A. Brill. George, age 4, was enumerated in the household of George and William Park on the 1870 Federal Census for the Forks of Capon Post Office in Blooming Township, Hampshire County, West Virginia. George, age 14, was enumerated in the household of his parents on the 1880 Federal Census in Bloomery, Hampshire County, West Virginia. He attends school.¹ Follow the link to see the census image. George married Ida Mae Simpson on 22 October 1890 in Hampshire County, West Virginia.⁵ He is the great-grandson of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
