He was the son of Enoch Park and Margaret Ruckman.1
He appeared on the census of 1 June 1850 in the household of Enoch Park and Mrs. Margaret Park (Ruckman) in Hampshire Co. I have not verified this census yet.2
Ashford married Catherine (?) in Hampshire County, West Virginia.3
Ashford and Catherine had 2 children. These children are Lucinda J. and Silas W..3
He is the great-grandson of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
