Charles A. Voiles was born circa 1866 in Iowa.1 He was the son of Charles A. Voiles and Julia Ann Millslagle.2 Charles, age 4, was enumerated in the household of his parents on the 1870 Federal Census in Eldora, Hardin County, Iowa. John may actually be his stepfather.3 Follow the link to see the census image. Charles died in 1879 probably in Steamboat Rock, Hardin County, Iowa.4 He was buried in Steamboat Rock Cemetery in Steamboat Rock.5 He was about 13 years old. He is the 3rd great-grandson of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
