Joanna Parks was born circa 1771 in Hampshire County, Virginia.1
She was the daughter of John Parkes (III) and Susanna Elrod.
Joanna married Samuel Dew (II), son of Samuel Dew (Senior) and Elizabeth Davis.1
Joanna and Samuel had at least 6 children. These children are Samuel, Susan, Betsy Ann, John Lewis, Sarah and William Henry Harrison.
The 1800 census records for Hampshire Co have been lost. Other sources for residence information will need to be found.
Joanna died in West Milford, Harrison County, Virginia. Accord to Wilmer Kerns, she is believed to have been living with her son, William at the time of her death.1
