Edith Collander was born circa 1878 in Iowa.1 She was the daughter of Levi Callender and Rachel Elizabeth Millslagle.1 Edith, age 1, was enumerated in the household of her parents on the 1880 Federal Census in Clay Township, Hardin County, Iowa.1,2 Follow the link to see the census image. She is the 3rd great-granddaughter of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
