"Patricia M. Fortino, 44, of Chico, formerly of San Diego, died Friday. Mrs. Fortino, who was born in Lemon Grove, worked as a controller for the town of Paradise. She had attended Balboa College and was a graduate of Chico State University. Survivors include her husband, Gerald Fortino; son, Mark Daellenbach McGinnis of Chico; sisters, Alice Dirdo of Vista, Deborah Modine of Oregon, Doris Madky[sic] of Santee and Valarie[sic] Bodreau of San Diego; and brothers, Brian Daellenbach of Chico, David Daellenbach of Reno, Nev., Michael Paul Daellenbach of Santa Fe, N.M., Ice [sic] of Colorado, Chris Daellenbach of Santa Cruz and Robert Daellenbach and Daniel Daellenbach of San Diego. No services are planned. Donations: Enloe Hospice or American Cancer Society. Arragements: Brusie Funeral Home."
