Geertje De Vries was born say 1812 possibly in the Netherlands.2 She was the daughter of (?) De Vries.2 Her name has also been given as Gertrude.3 Geertje married Hendrick De Jongh (III), son of Aire De Jongh.3 They had at least 12 children but I only have 6 entered into this database. These children are, Ghysbert, Engeltje, Arie, Jan, Maria and Sophia. Geertje died in 1878.1
