     William P. Chambers was born circa 1857 in England.1 William married Elizabeth (?) circa 1878.1 William and Elizabeth had at least 2 children. These children are Earl A. and Walter. William and Elizabeth immigrated in 1880 from England to United States of America. At the 1920 census, they are still "aliens."2
          William, age 56, and Elizabeth, age 54, were enumerated on the 1910 Federal Census in Waterville, Le Sueur County, Minnesota. Also enumerated in this household were their children, Earl (age 16) and Walter (age 14). They own their house "free."1 William worked as a laborer doing odd jobs.1 Follow the link to see the census image.
          William, age 63, and Elizabeth, age 63, were enumerated on the 1920 Federal Census at Green Street in Waterville, Le Sueur County, Minnesota. Also enumerated in this household was one of their sons, Earl (age 24).2 William worked as a laborer on a farm.2 Follow the link to see the census image. William died before 1930. The 1930 census shows Elizabeth as a widow.3
