     Matilda (?) was born circa 1850 in Berlin, Germany. Matilda married Fred Dalenberg, son of Mary (?).¹ Matilda and Fred had at least 3 children. These children are Anna, Helena and William. Matilda and Fred must have immigrated before 1875 because their first child was born in Dakota circa 1875.
          Fred, age 35, and Matilda, age 30, were enumerated on the 1880 Federal Census in Township 93, Range 60 & 61, Bon Homme County, Dakota Territory. Also enumerated in this household were their children, Anna (age 5), Helena (age 3), and William (age 2).¹ Follow the link to see the census image.
