     Peter Dalenberg was born on 1 November 1882 in Three Oaks Village, Berrien County, Michigan.2 He was the son of Cornelius Dalenberg and Johanna Adriana Kemp.1 On 26 March 1909, Peter was living in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.1
          Due to a need for men to serve during World War I, the United States instituted a draft. With no end in sight for World War I, the United States instituted its third and final draft registration. It included all men who were between the ages of 18 and 21, and 31 to 45 years of age. This added younger men than the previous registrations, those who were born between September 12, 1897 and September 12, 1900; and added an older group of men, born between September 12, 1873 and September 12, 1888. Peter filled out a draft card on 12 September 1918 in Kalamazoo. He was 35 years old and described as having a medium height and medium build with gray eyes and brown hair. His nearest relative was Ethel M. Dalenberg, his suspected wife.2 Peter was living at 914 Dewey in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.2 Peter worked as a paper maker for Standard Paper Company.2
          Peter died on 28 June 1959 in Kalamazoo.3 He was 76 old.
