     Leonard Dalenberg was born on 1 January 1889 in Three Oaks Village, Berrien County, Michigan.2 He was the son of Leendart Dalenberg and Pietertje Vandenberg.1 Leonard married Edna Maud Annable on 16 March 1915.3 He was 26 years old; she was 19 years old. Leonard and Edna had 7 children. These children are Jack, Annabel, Leonard, Leonard Benjamin, Ramona Jean, Lola May and Donald Eugene.
          Leonard, age 41, and Edna, age 34, were enumerated on the 1930 Federal Census at 308 W. Smith Street in Buchanan, Berrien County, Michigan. Also enumerated in this household were their children, Jack (age 14), Annabell (age 13), Leonard (age 10), Ramona (age 9), Lola (age 6), and Donald (age 2). They own their house which was valued at $3000 and they have a radio. Leonard is not a military veteran.4 Leonard worked as a welder in the drill department.4 Follow the link to see the census image. Leonard died on 3 March 1972 in Niles, Berrien County, Michigan.2 He was 83 old. I could not find this family in the 1920 census for Michigan.
