Simon Dekker was born on 21 February 1854.1 Simon married Antje De Jong, daughter of Pieter De Jong and Trijnte Dalenberg, on 12 March 1874 in Roseland, Cook County, Illinois.2 He was about 20 years old; she was 21 years old. Simon and Antje had at least 6 children. These children are Harry, Peter, Henry, Katie, Abram and Alice.1 Simon died on 14 November 1947.1 He was 93 old.
