     Lintje Van Steenberg was born circa 1800 in the Netherlands.² Lintje married Leendert Van Der Zijde, son of (?) Van Der Zijde. Lintje and Leendert came to the U.S. sometime before the 1860 census.
          Leendert, age 60, and Lintje, age 60, were enumerated on the 1860 Federal Census for the Blue Island Post Office in Worth Township, Cook County, Illinois.² Follow the link to see the census image. She is believed to have died on 24 February 1877.¹ She was about 77 old.
