Trijntje Madderom¹ (F)

     Trijntje Madderom was born on 24 October 1860 in Worth Township, Cook County, Illinois.¹ She was the daughter of Nicolaus Klaas Madderom and Trijintje Ton. Her name has also been given as Catharina Madderom. Catherina, age 9, was enumerated in the household of Jane and Nicolaus Klaas Madderom (her stepmother and father) on the 1870 Federal Census for the Calumet Post Office in Hyde Park, Cook County, Illinois.² Follow the link to see the census image.
          Trijntje married Leendert Vandersyde, son of Goris VanderSyde and Engeltje De Jong, on 20 July 1881 in Cook County, Illinois.³ Trijntje and Leendert had at least 2 children. These children are Angeline and Mabel.¹ Trijntje died circa 1955 in Worth Township.¹ She was about 95 years old.
