     Nicholas Jakob Madderom was born on 20 March 1888 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.1 He was the son of Cornelius Klaus Madderom and Antje Kuijper. Nicholas married Susie Boelens.1 Nicholas and Susie may have had numerous children but I only know the name of one child, Cornelius Nicholas. Susie died on 18 April 1911, leaving Nicholas a widower. Susie died 18 April 1911 at Wesley Hospital, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. It was only 12 days after her son's birth.1 Nicholas married Susan De Young circa 1912.2 Nicholas and Susan had 7 children. These children are Jean, Rollo, Anna Mae, James, Orville N., Eugene and Marlene. Nicholas died on 17 August 1964 in Stevens Point, Portage County, Wisconsin.1 He was 76 old.
