Jan De Jong¹ (M)

     Jan De Jong was born on 11 February 1825.¹ He was the son of Hendrick De Jongh (III) and Geertje De Vries.¹ Jan and Jon may be the same person. Their wives and children have similar names. All of the birthdays are very close to what I estimated from the census record. Jan married Teuntje Van Vuuren, daughter of Roel Van Vuuren and Grietje Baardwijk.¹ Two brothers, Jan and Arie De Jong married two sisters, Anna and Teuntje.¹ Jan and Teuntje had at least 6 children. These children are Arigje, Hendrikje, Hendirk, Arie, Roel and Geertje.¹ Jan died on 8 June 1881.¹ He was 56 old.
