Little is known of the early history of
the Clulow families although an ancient document was discovered
during a search in Staffordshire. It shows a few details of the
Clulow marriages during the Elizabethan times from 1500 to the
1700. This document has since been lost although copies of it are
still available. A transcription of this record is attached.
