Peter Bouquet m. Anne Debray
Anne Bouquet m. Richard Francis Mestayer

Update: 11 November 2011

Thanks to the Huguenot Society records I have been able to add this group to the ancestry of Edward Robinson Bouquet - from where I began my research.

This colour: possibility/probability

- Pierre / Peter BOUQUET (1); [if age 20 on marriage, b. c.1737]; d. 1780

- Louise BOUQUET b. 18 October, Chr. 7 November, 1762 Threadneedle Street French Huguenot, London
- Pierre / Peter BOUQUET (2) b. 23 February, Chr. 11 March, 1764 Threadneedle Street French Huguenot, London
   m. Anne DEBRAY 14 September 1782 St George Hanover Square, Westminster, London (related to Jean DE BRAY)
- Anne BOUQUET b. 6, Chr. 24, December 1786 St Jean French Huguenot, Spitalfields, London

- Richard MESTAYER
   m.(1) Eliza MULLENS 1842
   m.(2) Amelia BUDDEN 1862

An Elizabeth ROUSSIGNOL was b. 11, Chr. 21, July 1723 La Patente French Huguenot, Spitalfields, London (father: Pierre ROUSSIGNOL, mother: Louisse GROLLEAU); this may, or may not, have been Peter BOUQUET's wife, in view of her age; although if 1764 was the birth of her last child it remains possible.

Peter BOUQUET d. 4Q 1839 (Marylebone 1/178)

A Peter BOUQUET died at sea 1886, age 35, on board the ship Dolphin (GRO Marine Death Indices) [b. c.1851]

The Peter BOUQUET, Doctor of Divinity, was possibly this person:

Proceedings of the Huguenot Society of London published 1909
... Anne HENRIETTE, who married Paul de St. Ferreol, who served the Nonconformist Peter Street Church from 1717 to his death in 1755, and Marianne, who in 1716 married Peter BOUQUET de St. Paul, who ministered at the united churches of SS. Mary and Patrick.
The latter (son of Paul BOUQUET, sénéchal du Sigourney, and Charlotte de la DOUESPE) had been ordained at Fulham in 1711, was D.D. of Trinity College, Dublin, and later became Rector of Carlingford. There was issue of both marriages.

The MESTAYER family emigrated from France to, firstly, Dublin; if members of the BOUQUET family were in Dublin at the same time, they were probably acquainted through the Huguenot church and other organisations.
