| You might say: "Many Wa-Hi classes celebrating their 50th reunions give a gift to the high school. The reunion committee accepted Charles Herrin's recommendation to sponsor a scholarship for graduating seniors. |
| The fund has grown to $2,418 since the announcement was made during the reunion. A classmate and his wife will match all contributions up to $5,000. The wife's families' foundation will match that amount. We are excited to have the opportunity to raise $20,000. |
| The Wa-Hi counseling staff was delighted to meet with the scholarship committee. We are hopeful the classes holding 50th reunions will follow our lead and establish scholarships. |
| We will award a $500 scholarship this spring with half the amount to be distributed during the first and half during the second semesters, quarters or sessions, which ever applies to the recipient. |
