We have found Wilson Coats on the 1792 and later Logan County KY Tax Books - so it is believed most of his children born prior to 1800 were born either SC or Logan County KY.
Wilson Coats in 1793 is on the Logan County KY Tax Books with William Coats, Benjamin Coats and John Baker. John Baker is the father of Jeremiah Baker of Gallatin County IL, Nancy Baker, who married Rev William Coats and Anna Baker who married Benjamin Coats brother to Wilson Coats and William Coats
