William Hey

   Another name for William was William Hay.

Found what happened to Sarah Nigh Hey Arvin's first husband. Curtis' father. He, another son, and 25 other miners were killed in an underground mine explosion at Pittsburg, Kansas December 14, 1916. Article says wife was sister to Mrs. James Coats.

William married Sarah Frances Nigh, daughter of David Barton Nigh and Mary Elizabeth (Etta) Colclazier. (Sarah Frances Nigh was born in 1876 and died in 1937.)
