bullet  General Notes:

Hi Ron: I think the first paragraph is wrong.
I do not know of any proof that Mary Baker is dau of Robert Sr.
The marriage to Susan Packer 12, 24, 1709 seems to be the wrong Robert Baker.
Our Robert Baker Jr. (if he exists) is probably not related to Robert Baker Sr. the gunmaker according to the DNA tests.
I cannot identify that family that you have set up for Robert Baker Sr.
The only thing that I have proof about is that Mary Baker Callaway was the Aunt of Rev. Andrew Baker from the letter to Lyman C. Draper.
Does anyone have a transcription of that letter?
O. C. Helton had the family this way:
III. Robert Baker Sr 1660 md ??. He lived in Lancaster Co, PA, in Chester Co, PA & in Cecil Co, MD. Children:
A. Robert Baker 1686PA md Mary Thompson, d/o Rev. John Thompson
B. Douglas Baker 1688PA md Jane Thompson, sister of Mary
C. Caleb Baker Sr 1690PA-1775 Amelia Co, VA md Martha Brock 1695VA
D. Rev. Andrew Baker 1692 md Mollie Bowling
E. Samuel Baker 1694 md Elizabeth Thompson, d/o Rev. John
F. Mary Baker 1696 md Robert Elliot
G. May Baker 1700-1800 md Capt. Thomas Calloway
H. James Baker 1710-1792 Ashe Co, NC Gwen Boyer Bjorkman [email protected] .

Yes there is a lot known about Robert Baker. The problem seems to be in
separating all of the different Robert Bakers.
