Timberhill, is close to Bluejacket Craig County, OK. There isn't anything there now and Bluejacket just consists of a store and gas station.

Divorced from Anna Belle Frisinger.

Dad and Uncle Dan had a brand in Montana the *C-X*.

Dad's birth certificate first shows him born on Dec 4, 1927 but his father Robert Paul Coats sent in an amendment showing he was born on Dec 3, 1927-I have seen a copy of this birth certificate. The day of his birth was left off his tombstone, for what reason I don't know. He is buried in Fairhaven Memorial Cemetery in Santa Ana, CA. His Tombstone reads: Claud Russell Coats, World War II, Dec 1927-Feb 1997 Dad was 69 years 2 months 6 days of age when he passed away. He is buried under a Fern Pine at Fairhaven.

Also buried in Fairhaven are his aunts Ola Day Davis, her husband Howard Davis and his aunt Gertrude Dotts Wilkins Hamm, Aunt Ola and Gertrude were half sisters, Aunt Gertrude's full sister Leah Dotts was Dad's mother, she is also the half sister of Ola Dotts. They had a younger brother Jim Dotts that died very young of scarlet fever.

Dad was a journeyman carpenter because a ggggg grandfather (James Coats) in Philadelphia was a carpenter. He made me before he passed away a barrister's bookcase and he made Paddy his granddaughter a full length mirror. The Barrister's Book case is made without any metal nails or metal of any kind, the pins are made of dowel which hold the bookcase together.

This is a prime example as to how errors are made in newspapers etc...I am an only child and this is my Dad's obituary, Robert below listed as his son, is his grandson...so that will cause confusion a 100 years from now and Ann is my mother's name....this was suppose to be a correction of that error on Feb 20th but instead it appears it remained the same, don't know what they correct in this...both obituaries are the same person but the original was published Feb 12 and the correction Feb 20
