He was a linenweaver, was gratned permission April 26, 1741, along withJoh. Conrad Lahm, tailor and Matthias Bayer, all of Kleinich to emigrate to Pennsylvania. THis they did, arriving on the Europa November 20, 1741,but Michael Neu and Matthias Bayer are said to have died soon after theirarrival.
