The listed children other than Henry are those individuals that arelisted in the St. John's Lutheran Church, Centre Square, Whitpain Twp., Montoc., PAlist of births and baptisms. It may be that these families are not relatedhowever, at the present to maintain these names they are listed as Philips children although they could be Johann Heinrich Datz's children. But it does notlist Margareta Deger as his wife, so it may be that Johann Heinrich Datz is a younger unmarried at the timebrother to Johann Philip Datz who wasmarreid to Catherine Datz and the parents of Johann Heinrich.

Samuel is listed with a wife Sarah. Jacob Henry, Joseph, and David Lukens were all baptized on 4/24/1842 and are thereforebelieved to be theirchildren. The Samuel and Sarah Doots listed as the parents ofAaron Doots born 9/30/1842 at present is believe to be the same Samuel andSarah.

The sponsors for Samuel and Sarah's children were Joseph and CatherineDotts. Samuel and Joseph probably were brothers and Samuel named his son Josephafter him.

Samuel married Sarah Unk. (Sarah Unk was born about 1815 and died on 22 Apr 1839.)
