George & Boston Dotts had slaves in Jefferson Co. Va 1800 and 1810 census and freed them (oral history says) by 1830. The 1830 census shows no slaves.
They left there and went to PA and on to Harrison Co.IN in time for the
1850 census. Still searching for his father.
