Hans Neu the younger. Hans was a Sponheimisher (Court Magistrate) of Kleinich which was under Sponheim rule.

There are additional Neu records from the church at Kleinich and other Palatinate towns (available on film) which have yet to be translated and studied. Researchers of Neu family history are encouraged to do so.

Hans was buried September 5, 1635, in Trarbach which may have been theseat of the Sponheim government at that time. Hans may have married a secondtime as there are burial records for two children named Nicholas, one before and one after the death of Margaretha.

Hans married Margaretha Bartges, daughter of Clos Bartges and Unknown, on 26 Jun 1610 in Kleinich, Germany.
