Mary (Experience)

  General Notes:

Sylvester may have had a wife named Experience or Mary and Experience are the same person...DAR papers show Experience but Rowan County NC land records show Sylvester's wife's name as Mary...Experience may have been a first wife also, but Nancy names her first child Mary believed to be after her mother.

Not all of these Children are Mary's but some probably were, we just don't know at present which kids were which mother's

If your Williams are the Williams family with Eliz Williams who md John
Baker of Smith Co, Tn whose brother Morgan Williams leaves a will written
in15 June1812 Probated 1812 (Smith Co) saying his sister Elizabeth, brother
Silas Mercer and mentions John Baker --these are believed to be my family.
(Documented by me from here on)John Baker's son Morgan W. Baker says his
father is from NC and I have little on the Mother believed to be Elizabeth.

Mary married Sylvester Baker, son of Obediah Baker and Patience, about 1774. (Sylvester Baker was born on 18 Jun 1754 in Baltimore County, MD and died about 1842 in Callaway County MO.)
