It is written John petitioned for 200 a of land for his family of four. He was granted his land on Bush River Oct 28, 1771. John and Priscilla Lewis of Guilford County NC at the age of 68 did sell this his 200a Dec 10, 1887 and also appointed Jacob Lewis of Walker County GA to sell his land in SC. This Jacob is his younger brother.
