Between the States, he served in Company H, 21st Georgia Infantry Regiment. He enlisted from Dade County on 02 Jul 1862,
with cousins Lafayette and Charles Robert Cobb. He died later that year from wounds received at Cold Harbor,
Virginia.

1836 in Tennessee. She died on June 4,
1918 in Rising Fawn, Dade County, Georgia.
