He died on 18 JAN 1877 at Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.
He died of gangrene at the age of 84 ys, 9 ms, 3 ds. He and Edith are buried in the Evans Cemetery on White Rock Hill Road in Bow, NH. This was known as the North Cemetery in the early 1800's. On 8, April, Aaron, with his brothers Willaby and Levi, bought a saw mill in Bow Bog, which was located at the juncture of Parsonage Meadow Brook and Moores Brook. Aaron served in the War of 1812. They lived in the Potter Place section of Andover, NH between 1838 and 1867. They moved back to Bow and lived at the farm house owned by Isabelle Downing (1963) on Woodhill-Hooksett Road. It was situated on the north side of the road about half way between Wood Hill Road and Allen Road. This was known as the Hoag farm in 1895.

Aaron William Colby, age 35, our beloved son, brother, husband, father and friend, passed away April 24, 2005 in Spanish Fork.

He was born May 21, 1969 in Gunnison, UT to Clive and Juanita Chidester Colby.

He married Lesa Carter October 7, 1989 in Provo and together they had a daughter Tanya Alese "Miracle" Colby.

He graduated from Provo Adult High School and attended UVSC, always trying to better himself and loved learning new skills. He was a very talented artist and enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends and family in the outdoors and especially with his preciouos daughter. As a friend to all he always tried to help those in need. The Carter family will always appreciate the special care he gave to his father-in-law prior to his death in 2003.

He is survived by his wife Lesa and daughter Tanya of Provo, mother Juanita Colby, brother Michael and sisters Anita and Catherine, all of Helper, brother Matt and wife Cathy Colby of LaVerkin and sister Julia and her husband Scott Pederson of Arkansas. Preceded in death by his father Clive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Helper Stake Center where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Huntington Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.

HUNTINGTON/PROVO - Funeral services for Aaron William Colby were held Thurs., April 28, at 11 a.m. in the Helper LDS Stake Center. Burial, Huntington Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is set up at Fausett Mortuary to help Aaron's family with expenses.
