Mrs. Grant lived on Piscassic Road, Newfields for many years, before moving to Marshall Farms, Exeter and most recently to Riverwoods. She devoted her life to her family, and the family-operated business, The Kingston-Warren Corp. in Newfields. She was a member and devoted patron of the Newfields Community Church. Her husband, Herbert A. Grant, died in 1986. Survivors include her son, Herbert A. Grant Jr. of Rye; her daughter, Mrs. William (Barbara) Chick of Newfields; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Colby of Haverhill, Mass.; a sister, Charlene Bradley of Miami, Fla.; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers and a sister. -------- At the request of Mrs. Grant, there will be no visitation or service. Burial will be in private and at the convenience of the family.
