He was admonished along with his brothers, by the court and fined shillings for stealing 1100 red oak hogshead staves from the pasture of Nathaniel Ware in June 1679 in Salisbury, Massachusetts. He was signed the Norfolk County Petition in 1680. He was mentioned in the will of Steven Flanders 17 18 ,19 on 4 February 1683/84 in Salisbury, Massachusetts. Morell & Nathll osgood & to range the woods on ye back side powas hill & to ye new medows & to batts hill or grape hill & to ye grate plaine & to folow his orders. if ye meet wth any Indians to take y & not to kill them if posible but to use them as kindly as they Cold & to Cary them to Maior noye; & to give me intiligence if they se any thing more than ordanary that so I might give the same to Colo. Pierce, etc"

The following excerpt from Capt. True's Order Book indicates the need to maintain a garrison against the Indians at this time and shows the peril to which the settlers of Salisbury were exposed: "Conserning or garrisoning orders was given forth ---: for Isaac Morrells to: himself Jarvis Ring; or Sergent osgood; for ye plaine to abram browne to himself & Sargt Page to Sergent Morrels to himself & Sergt gill; to Andrew Greleys; to Richard Smith & henry Ambrus To me. Cushings Ensign Eaton & Sargt True & to Jeremy Allins himself Sergt Tho. Bradbury & Samll Eastman; & ye men ordered to doe ye worke at the several garrisons According to yr order & direction; given under my hand the 11th of november; 1702."
