FERGUSON ( small upright sandstone, pieces flaking off )
This stone was erected / by James Ferguson to the / memory of his wife Jane / Ferguson, who
departed / this life the 4th of May 1813 / aged 56 years. She lived / a pious religious
life / and died the same.
McKEE Grave ( flat sandstone )
Also her daughter, Ellen / Ferguson, who died 11th Feb / 1871 aged 50 years.

FERGUSON February 14, at Scotch St. Downpatrick, Ellen, the beloved wife of Colour Sergeant
John Ferguson. Her remains will be removed from her late residence for interment in the
family burying ground on this ( Thursday ) afternoon, at one o'clock, arriving in Lisburn,
about 4 - 30pm. Friends will please accept this intimation.
