Ferguson to Knight Regd 16th May 1835

To the Register appointed by act of Parliament for registering deeds Leases Settlements conveyances and so forth. A Memorial of an indented deed of Marriage settlement bearing date and duly executed the eleventh day of January in the year of our Lord God one thousand and eight hundred and fifteen and made between John Ferguson of Lisnalee in the county of Monaghan and Thomas Ferguson only son and heir as Law of the said John Ferguson of the first part Joseph Knight of the Killarley in the county of cavan and Mary Anne Knight Daughter of the said Joseph Knight of the second part and Abraham Walsh of Lisnalee aforesaid and John Knight of Knockarooan in the county of Cavan of the third part And after reciting as therein recited this deed amongst other things witnefsed that the said John Ferguson and Thomas Ferguson for the consons therein mentioned did afsign transfer and makeover release and confirm unto the said Abraham Walsh and John Knight all that and those the lands of Nockaghey situate in the Parish of Ballymacallenny Barony of Tullyhuck and county of Cavan Eighty four acres of Arable Land and one hundred acres of Bog Tohold to them to their heirs forever and also that part of the Lands of Clillearby aforesaid as then laid out by the said Joseph Knight contg about twenty acres of Arable land with about the said a half in trust for the several uses therein contained and amongst other the said lands of Nockaghey to the use of the said John Ferguson During the term of his Natural life and after the aclinination of that estate to the use of the male ifsue of the said Thomas Ferguson an the Body of the said Mary Anne knight to be begotten as therein is exfisefsed and in Failure of such male ifsue then to the Female ifsue of the said Thomas Ferguson an the Body of the said Mary Anne Knight to be begotten share and share alike for all and in further Trust to permit and suffer the said Mary Anne Knight in case she should service the said Thomas Ferguson to receive the sum of twenty pounds yearly rent of the said Lands of Nockaghey during the term of her Natural life the same to be payable quarterly and which said deed containing several other Clauses and Covenants and is witnefsed by James J Knight and Thomas Knight John Ferguson (seal) Signed and Sealed in presence of J __ Latimer James Knight Now James Irwin Knight of Green Cottage in the county of Monaghan atty maketh Oath and Saith he is a subscribing witness to the deed of which the within is a memorial and also to this Meml and with the Name James J Knight subscribed sespy to each as a witnefs is this Depts proper Name and handwriting and that Dept delivered said deed and this Memorial to Walter Glascock Esq. assistant Registrar at the Registry Office Kings Inns in the city of Dublin on saturday the sixteenth day of May one thousand eight hundred and thirty five at or near the hour of one OClock in the afternoon of said day jas J Knight Sworn before me this 16th day of May 1835 Walter Clascock AR
