45. Joseph³ DOTY (Samuel², Edward¹) was born in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey October 30, 1696. Joseph died September 10, 1768 in New Providence, Essex County, New Jersey at 71 years of age.

He married Sarah BADGLEY circa 1721 in New Jersey. Sarah was born 1698. Sarah died June 30, 1785 in New Providence, Essex County, New Jersey at 86 years of age.

Joseph DOTY and Sarah BADGLEY had the following children:

131 i. Joseph⁴ DOTY was born in New Providence, Essex County, New Jersey circa 1722.

+ 132 ii. George DOTY was born circa 1723.

+ 133 iii. John DOTY was born circa 1725.

134 iv. Elizabeth DOTY was born in New Providence, Essex County, New Jersey circa 1728.

135 v. Anthony DOTY was born in New Providence, Essex County, New Jersey circa 1730.

136 vi. Sarah DOTY was born in New Providence, Essex County, New Jersey circa 1735.
