30. John Humphrey³ SHIPMAN (John², Edward¹) was born in Saybrook, New Haven County, Connecticut January 1686/7.⁽³⁸⁾ John died July 7, 1742 in Saybrook, New Haven County, Connecticut at 55 years of age.

He married Elizabeth KIRTLAND January 11, 1715 in Saybrook, New Haven County, Connecticut.⁽³⁹⁾ Elizabeth was born June 27, 1688. Elizabeth died April 27, 1778 at 89 years of age.

John Humphrey SHIPMAN and Elizabeth KIRTLAND had the following children:

67 i. Elizabeth⁴ SHIPMAN was born December 3, 1716. Elizabeth died October 3, 1809 at 92 years of age.

+ 68 ii. John SHIPMAN was born December 20, 1717.

69 iii. Elias SHIPMAN was born April 30, 1720. Elias died November 17, 1748 at 28 years of age. He married Rebeckah (--------) circa 1746. Rebeckah was born circa 1725.

70 iv. Nathaniel SHIPMAN was born May 25, 1723. Nathaniel died September 8, 1805 at 82 years of age.

+ 71 v. Samuel SHIPMAN was born May 21, 1726.
