3. Edward² SHIPMAN (Edward¹) was born in Saybrook, Connecticut February 1653/4.⁽⁸⁾ Edward died December 30, 1711 in Chester, New Haven County, Connecticut at 57 years of age. He was interred December 1711 in Haddam, Hartford County, Connecticut.

Edward SHIPMAN had the following children:

11 i. Jonathan³ SHIPMAN.

12 ii. Abigail SHIPMAN.

+ 13 iii. Deborah SHIPMAN.

14 iv. Lydia SHIPMAN was born 1693.

15 v. Benjamin SHIPMAN was born 1693. Benjamin died 1726 at 33 years of age.

16 vi. Priscilla SHIPMAN was born 1695. Priscilla died December 24, 1791 at 96 years of age.

17 vii. Joseph SHIPMAN was born 1702. Joseph died February 17, 1793 in Chester, Middlesex County, Connecticut at 90 years of age.⁽⁹⁾

18 viii. Parnell SHIPMAN was born 1702.
