[email protected].3Glenn Alvin McDowell. "Glenn Alvin McDowell began to grace this earth Oct. 23, 1949. He went to join his good father and his lovely mother and missed brother on March 23, 2010.
Regretfully, he left his girly, his daughter, Chris (Bill) Colwell; son, Jesse; and Ariah, his perfect little Rosebud. Eight wonderful, respected, reliable brothers and their families will mourn Glenn.
There never was a baby that didn't feel safe with Glenn. He loved and was loved by a multitude of nieces and nephews.
A generous, kind, fun man, he is a tremendous loss from this earth. Glenn was a decorated 1st Recon Marine and also served honorably in the Army. America will suffer the loss of a genuine hero.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the Penrose Senior Hall in Penrose, followed by a “Celebration of Life” at the VFW Hall in Penrose.".
