He died the very next year. The records of their children are found in the Bush River Monthly Meeting, South Carolina; Cane Creek Monthly Meeting, South Carolina, and South Miami County, Ohio.

William died May 17, 1842 also in Montgomery County, Ohio and was buried along with Martha in Compton Cemetery. William's will is recorded in Montgomery County, Ohio (Book D, p 25) May 28, 1842.
