HATTIE AUGUSTA HARRIS, daughter of William L. HARRIS and Nancy ATWELL was born in Ohio and married Mark P. HATFIELD, in 1876, by whom she had three children. Mr. Hatfield was a physician in Chicago, Illinois.

WILLIAM HAMILTON HARRIS, son of William L. HARRIS and Nancy A. ATWELL was born in Ohio and married Grace Fancher NICOLL. He is a lawyer who was admitted to the bar in New York in 1887.

ABIGAIL HARRIS, daughter of James HARRIS and Mary LOGAN was born in Richland County, Ohio and married Joseph EDGINTON September 26, 1844. She went with her husband to his home and took upon herself the responsibility of the care of his younger brothers and sisters (his father and mother both being dead), and filled the place of a mother as best as she could. They remained in Richland County until 1855 or 1856, when they moved to Eldary, Hardin County, Iowa. Joseph was postmaster for a number of years. They had no children.

MARY HARRIS, daughter of John HARRIS and Mary HAMILTON was born 12 May 1794 in Washington County, PA. She married John MUSTARD in 1816. They resided in Washington County until the fall of 1844 when they removed to Kenton, Hardin County, Ohio, where they resided the balance of their lives.  John died 16 Dec 1853 and Mary died 26 Feb 1873. They had eight children.

Josephus was a Civil War Veteran and was wounded in the hand.

JAMES MUSTARD, son of John MUSTARD and Mary HARRIS was born 12 Aug 1820 in Washington County, PA, married Mary H. SOUSLEY in Ada, Ohio 2 October 1873. She was born in Fleming County, Kentucky 19 Sept 1844. Mr Mustard enlisted in Company I, 135th Regiment Ohio Volunteers at the outbreak of the Civil War. He is a farmer and they lived in Hardin County, Ohio. They had five children.

JANE R. MUSTARD, daughter of John Mustard and Mary Harris was born 21 May 1829 in Washington County, PA. She married John SHANKS in Hardin County, Ohio 19 Nov 1846. John was born 26 Sept 1821, son of Thomas Shanks and Susannah PENSE.  They had six children of whom four died young.   Mr. Shanks was a farmer and they resided near Ada, Ohio.

 ROYAL SHELDON SHANKS, son of son of John SHANKS and Jane R. MUSTARD was born 1 Jan 1851 in Hardin County, Ohio. He married Mary Katherine REAM on his 21th  birthday 1 Jan 1872. They had three children and lived near Ada, Ohio.

William Carleton Shanks  born 17 Jan 1873 Ada, Ohio married 1st Essie EASTMAN. Children: Royal Eastman Shanks m. Betty Morris and Robert Sheldon Shanks who died in infancy. William married 2nd Clara Fidelia Cronbaugh (born 6 June 1874, Ada, Ohio and died 16 July 1904). Children with Clara:  Cleo Anna Shanks b. 14 Jan 1898, Kenton, Ohio died Feb 1964 in Ada, Ohio married Arden Ross SEARSON; Frances Lenore Shanks born 22 Mar 1900 Ada, Ohio died 1 Aug 1954 in James River Virginia, married Paul George PORTER 12 Sept 1920. SAMUEL MUSTARD, son of John MUSTARD and Mary Harris was born 14 May 1831 in Washington County, PA. He married Sarah PRESTON in Hardin County, Ohio. They had three children. Samuel died near Spring Hills, Champaign County, Ohio in 1863. His children all reside in Nebraska, place unknown.

JOSEPHUS MUSTARD, son of John MUSTARD and Mary Harris was born 11 Oct 1833 in Washington County, PA. He married Katherine CLARK 11 Nov 1854 in Ada, Hardin County, Ohio. They moved to Scottsville, Michigan in 1890 which is in Mason County. Josephus was a Civil War Veteran and was wounded in the hand. Josephus and Katherine had two children. Katherine died 29 Aug 1857 and Josephus married second Tabitha M. COLLINS of Ada, Ohio. They had seven children.

CHARLES EDWIN MUSTARD, son of Josephus Mustard and Tabitha COLLINS was born 20 Nov 1861 in Hardin County, Ohio. He married Anna GRAY from Ontario, Canada 7 Mar 1885. Mr. Mustard was head sawyer at the mill at Batchelor, Mason County, Michigan. His brother James C. Mustard worked at the
same mill.

MATTIE M. MUSTARD, daughter of Josephus Mustard and Tabitha COLLINS was born 18 Dec 1865 in Hardin County, Ohio. She married C.B. CLAY 24 Feb 1884 and had one child. Mr Clay is a farmer and lived near Scottsville, Kalamazoo County, MI.

County, PA, in 1820. They settled in Mercer County. William died 20 Feb 1877 and Abigail died 18 Jan 1879. They were farmers in Mercer County. They had eight children all born in Mercer County.
