Keith Carlton Domke

Age 73, of Sumner, went to be with the Lord on
Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.
Keith
was born July 4, 1935, in Gratiot County, the son of Elmer H. and Emma
Eudora (Jacobs) Domke. He grew up on the family farm in North Star, and
graduated from Ithaca High School in 1953.
Keith lived a full
life doing the things he enjoyed. He enjoyed hunting bucks and had
successfully shot more than 85. His passions included building his
cabin in the Upper Peninsula where he also enjoyed fishing for
steelhead and herring fishing at Cedarville.
He was retired from Motor Products of Ithaca and Owosso after 37 years
of service.
Keith
is survived by: his wife Rita; daughters, Janet Miller and Linda Domke,
both of Greenville; stepchildren, Debbie Foster of Missouri, Shelly
(John) Cease of Williamston and Scott Simpson of Ovid; grandchildren,
Emmie Baney, Justin Miller, Jordan Miller, Mindy Domke, Cindy Rios,
Wendy Robinson and Jenny Robinson; stepgrandchildren, Ella Cease,
Jennifer Foster, Josh Foster, Rachael Foster and Jeanette Cramer; 10
great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by: his parents; brother Jack
Domke; sister Louise Shepler; grandson Jeremy Miller.
A
celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Barden
Funeral Home in Ithaca, with Pastor R.A. Mosey officiating. Interment
will follow in Sumner Cemetery, with a fellowship dinner to be served
at the Sumner Center Church of the Nazarene afterward. Visitation at
the funeral home will be this evening 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 5 to
8 p.m.
