Visual Cues to setup Ancestry.com DNA match sharing 2016

Start on your homepage of Ancestry.com




Find the DNA Menu at top left




Select your DNA results page, then select the settings option.




On the settings page at the top is where you can link your DNA results with your tree.




Scrolling down on the settings page takes you to the Share your DNA match settings.




Scrolling down on the settings page takes you to the Share your DNA match settings.




You can invite someone either with their e-mail address or Ancestry.com Username.




To make the invite enter the correct information and select a role for them; unless you have a high trust level, guest role is sufficient.




If you have setup a sharing, you access their DNA matches from your DNA results page.




From your DNA results page, select from the list of View another test.




When selected from the list, you will open the person's matches on your computer screen.







You will be able to use your searching and view all available DNA matches.

Start on your homepage of Ancestry.com




Find the Tree Menu at top left you will see any tree you have uploaded and all tree that have been shared with you.




At the bottom of the Tree Menu, select the last option on the bottom called, Create and Manage Trees.




A list of your trees (or just the one tree you have on Ancestry.com) can bee seen; select manage for the tree you wish to share.




A new page will open called Tree Settings; select the option for Sharing.




The remainder of the process is similar to the one above for DNA match sharing.
